ALL STAFF, CLERGY, RELIGIOUS & VOLUNTEERS WHO WORK DIRECTLY WITH CHILDREN must register and complete the diocesan safe environment training program every three years.
- The program is designed to be respectful of the topic and your time.
- The site is accessible anytime and on most computers, mobile devices and smartphones.

How to Make a ReportIf you or someone you know has been a victim of child sexual abuse in the past or present day by clergy (priest or deacon) you are requested to report the incident in the following manner:
- Make a report to Child Protective Services by calling 800-800-5556 or local law enforcement.
- Call Jackie Montrie M.A., LMFT, LMHC Victim Assistance Coordinator of the Diocese of Lafayette-in-Indiana at (765) 464-4988.
- Thereafter, an investigation will be undertaken by or on behalf of the Diocese of Lafayette-in-Indiana.
If you or someone you know has been a victim of child sexual abuse in the past or present day by someone working in a parish or school for the Roman Catholic Church in the Diocese of Lafayette-in-Indiana (such as religious sister or brother, lay employee, lay volunteer, etc.) you are requested to report the incident in the following manner:
- Make a report to Child Protective Services by calling 800-800-5556 or local law enforcement
- Call our Ethics Hotline 855-375-6796, or go to dioceseoflafayetteinindiana.ethicspoint.com. OR
- Call Jeanne Lausten, Director of Human Resources at 765-269-4604.
