Our Lady of Grace Catholic School students are formed in faith throughout their educational experience. Students are immersed into our Catholic Tradition through weekly Mass attendance, participation in the Sacraments (including First Holy Communion and semiannual Reconciliation, Religion curriculum in their classes, and prayer several times each day. Additionally, students serve in many liturgical roles as lectors, altar servers, and music ministers.
Middle school students participate in faith-based retreats and have the opportunity to join our EDGE middle school youth ministry as they learn to apply the lessons of faith from the classroom into a long-lasting relationship with Christ and His Church. With enrollment at about fifty students per grade, Our Lady of Grace Catholic School is a small school where faith and family can thrive. Many of our teachers and staff have been at Our Lady of Grace for more than a decade, and they do not start or stop getting to know students in the grade in which they teach. Our staff takes pride in knowing families and accompanying them throughout their primary education.
In addition to teachers, other mentors are placed in the lives of students in the form of other faculty - including our priests, student mentors (8th graders are always paired up with "Kindergarten buddies"), faith mentors from our parish staff through youth ministry, and other parents through the tight-knit friendships that are formed among our families.Good nutrition and learning go hand in hand. In an effort to continually improve the quality of meals offered to our students, we are raising the bar. Our focus is on enhancing the diet of students with more nutritious choices and providing nutrition education that will help our students form lifelong healthy habits. Meals, foods and beverages sold or served in our cafeteria meet State and Federal requirements which are based on the USDA Dietary Guidelines. Students will find many items made from scratch and a variety of fruit and vegetable offerings. We hope you will encourage your child to try one of our school lunches!
